How Big is Baby: What
to Expect When Expecting: "Curious about whether that melon-sized belly contains a boy or a girl? Now's your chance to take a peek! Your second trimester ultrasound,
scheduled for anytime between 18 and 22 weeks, gives your practitioner a
chance to see how things are going in there. And, wow, are they going!
If you're having a girl, her uterus is now fully formed and her ovaries
are holding about seven million primitive eggs. If you're having a boy,
his testicles have begun their descent from the abdomen to their
ultimate destination — the scrotum. And while your baby is definitely
getting bigger (weighing in at about ten ounces and measuring six and a
half inches), there's still plenty of growing room in there, which
allows him to twist and turn (and allows you to feel his acrobatics!). You've got a heavyweight in your belly at 20 weeks pregnant
(well, in baby terms, anyway). Your little champ weighs about ten
ounces and has a height, crown to rump, of about six and a half inches.
Think small cantaloupe (and probably as sweet too).
Is it a boy cantaloupe or a girl cantaloupe? You'll be able to find out your baby's gender via the ultrasound by this point. If you're carrying a girl fetus, her uterus is fully formed this week and her vaginal canal is starting its development (which means that in about twenty-five or thirty-some-odd years, she could be just where you're at, Grandma!). She also has primitive eggs in her tiny little ovaries now, seven million of them — though by the time she's born, that number will be down to two million (still more than she could ever hope to use). And interestingly, your baby girl will be born with all the eggs she'll ever have.
Have you got male? If your fetus is a boy, his testicles have begun their descent this week, though they're still located in the abdomen, waiting for the scrotum to finish growing so they'll have a place to drop into in a few weeks.
Though the external genitals in both male and female fetuses still have a way to grow, you should be able to find out the sex of your baby (if you want to) during an ultrasound exam."

Maternity Clothes: I
am wearing maternity pants. All of my pre pregnancy pants no longer fit. I'm not in need of maternity tops just yet, but they're certainly more comfortable!
Stretch Marks: Some of my old ones are turning red again and I have a tiny start of some at the top (front and center) of my belly.
Sleep: I am not sleeping the best. I'm up several times at night to pee and I do toss and turn. I have also had a sinus/respiratory infections since Thursday. It has made sleep impossible! I just started an antibiotic yesterday. I'm sure I'll be back to normal once I'm over this sickness!
Best Moment of the Week: We saw movement on my belly two nights ago and I felt several jabs!
Movement: Yes! I felt the baby a lot and we saw movement on my belly on 3-18-13! It was the most beautiful thing ever! I can't wait for the kicks to get stronger and more frequent.
Symptoms: Growing belly, nonstop peeing, some back pain
Food Cravings: I still love my fruits and salads!
Gender: I still think it's a boy and Daddy still thinks it's a girl. We're within a few days of knowing!
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: I basically only feel sick when I'm hungry. If I don't eat right away, I throw up or feel sick to my belly.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button In or Out? In
Wedding Rings On or Off? On
